Acrylic on canvas with metallic gold.
A teal ground holds a stacked figure-eight of a black oval over a gray oval, outlined in gold, with a gold heart at the center. Gold and white marks scatter across the surface.

The central section became a pressure bubble — a valve that could expand without breaking. The title comes from that image of something that holds under force and still offers release.
